Jim Judge

Jim Judge, 60, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord Thursday February 21, 2019. Born February 21, 1959 in Smyrna, TN, he was the son of Bill “Shorty” Judge,Sr. and Jodi Judge.  Many hobbies Jim enjoyed include fishing, skiing, basketball, baseball, bowling, golfing, singing, and the Tennessee Volunteers.  Among many wonderful characteristics, Jim was known for having a great sense of humor and always wearing a smile.

He is survived by his father, Bill “Shorty” Judge, Sr. (Suzette), mother, Jodi Judge, brother, Bill Judge, Jr. (Sheryl), sister, Markita Shuford, step brother, Michael Hall (Erika); children, James Robert “J.R.” Judge, Jr., Brianna Judge, Erica Grant (Corey), and Leslie Miller (Billy); grandchildren, Paige Watkins, Ethan Miller, Erin Grant, Leah Miller, Cason Miller, Colton Grant, and Corbin Grant; nieces April Garcia (Pete) and Jennifer Judge; nephews, Brett Smalley (Lauren), Alex Shuford, and Logan Shuford.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Peter Wesson officiating.

The family will receive friends 2-6 PM Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
