Jerry Gann

Alvin “Jerry” Gann, 82, of Rossville went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at his home. He was born on September 4, 1938 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Archibald and Lottie Gann. He was a 1956 graduate of City High School and a 1961 graduate of Georgia Tech with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Mr. Gann went on to receive his Masters from MIT in Science and Computer Science. He worked at Raytheon for 10 years and 2 years in Huntsville for Aerospace and 2 years for Soft Tech Inc and Wang Computer Labs for 5 years.
 
Survivors include his loving wife of 24 years, Angela Gann; several cousins; and his canine companion, Angel the Jack Russell Terrior.
 
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Curtis McKee officiating.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Fort Oglethorpe Building Fund or the Hospice of Chattanooga.
 
The family will receive friends 1-2 PM Wednesday at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
