Jean Tambling Storey

Jean Tambling Storey, 88, of Arden, NC, passed away on June 15, 2018.  Jean was born October 16, 1929 in Somerset, England, to the late Cecil and Maud Tambling.  She was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church in Fletcher, NC for over 40 years.  Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, James Storey.  Mrs. Storey enjoyed reading, spending time with her family, and traveling.  She worked for 40 years at First Union National Bank in Asheville, NC.

Survivors are her sons, Michael Storey, Fort Oglethorpe, Greg Storey, Chattanooga; sister, Peggy Chaplin, England; sisters-in-law, Joyce Barrier, Newland, NC, Lib Storey, Fort Walton Beach, FL, and Harriett Storey, Valdese, NC. 

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2 PM, at Calvary Episcopal Church Cemetery in Fletcher, NC.
