Jan, 67, went home to be with the Lord early Sunday morning on November 10, 2019.
Jan was born on February 6, 1952 in Nashville, Tennessee to Foster and Ann Moulton. She lived all of her life in the North Georgia area where she was proud of raising her twin sons. Jan loved to draw and do anything dealing with arts and crafts and shopping, but the thing that she loved the most was spending time with her family and her adored grandchildren. She was known for her infectious smile and heartwarming laugh. According to her twin boys, she was the best cook in the world. She received her nursing degree from Chattanooga State University, where she worked many years at NHC in Rossville and Hospice of Chattanooga.
She was very active at her church at First Baptist Church of Fort Oglethorpe where she especially loved singing in the choir. She loved her Sunday school class and enjoyed the many girls' trips that they took. She also enjoyed extracurricular activities with her many friends.
Jan was preceded in death by her father, Foster, and her mother, Ann. She is survived by her husband, Steve Rosser; her two sons, Todd (Laura) Eldridge and Jeremy (Rachael) Eldridge; five grandchildren who she loved more than anything, Ryan, Emilie, Reece, James, and Davis; her brother, Rick (Brenda) and nephew Jason and niece Melody; and beloved best friend Lynn Tyree.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 12, from 4:00 to 8:00 at First Baptist Church of Fort Oglethorpe. Private graveside service will be held for the family officiated by Jason Thomas.
Special thanks to Lynn Tyree, Memorial Hospital MICU, Vanderbilt Hospital, and Hospice of Chattanooga.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made in her name to Hospice of Chattanooga.
