James "Ron" Adair, Sr.

January 31, 1938 ~ October 3, 2018 (age 80) 80 Years Old

Tribute

James “Ronnie” Adair, Sr., 80, of Rock Spring went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at his home. He lived throughout the United States while working for United Airlines during his 43 year career. Ron was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church and had served as Deacon for 40 years in various churches. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force receiving an honorable discharge.

He was preceded in death by his son, James Ronald Adair, Jr.

Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Mary Adair; son, Michael (Cheri) Wayne Adair, Franklin, IN; daughter, Sharon (Glen) Leah Adair Blair; brother, Melvin Adair, Cocoa, FL; grandchildren, James Maurice Blair, Leah Blair Ogle, Kacie Danielle Abram, Sydney Adair, Summer Adair and Mallory Adair; great-grandchildren, John Bodle VI, Cairo Bodle and Helena Abram.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday at the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Brown officiating. A private interment will follow in Dietz Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Center Grove Baptist Church.
