James Matthew Good

James Matthew Good, 95, of Chickamauga went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 27, 2021 at home. He grew up in Mt. Jackson, Virginia, born on August 30, 1926 to the late Raleigh and Lelia Good. Mr. Good served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from the Dalton Golf & Country Club after 30 years of service. He has lived in the North Georgia area for the 68 years and was a member of the Assemblies of God (Cross Connection Church).

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Frankie Good and son, David Good.

Survivors include his sons, James Clayton (Eva) Good and Charles Loren (Deana) Good; grandsons, Joshua and Jonathan Good; and his brother, Howard Good.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Joey Kelly officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Lafayette, Georgia.
