James Francis Cannon, Sr.

James Francis Cannon, Sr., of Ooltewah, TN, died Thursday, August 13, 2020 at his home surrounded by his wife and children. James was an Air Force veteran and a Real estate investor. He retired from Erlanger Medical Center as an Orthopedic Physician’s Assistant.

Survivors include his loving wife Jill Bridges Cannon, children Jennifer Cannon (Matthew) Womble, James Francis (Stacey) Cannon Jr., and Joshua Reese (Christy) Cannon, 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brother Tom (Gloria) Cannon, and sister Anne (Tim) Crais.

Funeral services will be held 4 PM Sunday August 16th at Collegedale Community SDA Church. The family will receive friends 2-4 PM at the church.

A graveside service will be 10:30 AM Tuesday at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. Pallbearers will be nephews.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Humane Educational Society of Chattanooga, 212 N Highland Park Ave. Chattanooga, TN 37404.
