Jack Edgar Eskew Sr., 99, of Chattanooga passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021. Jack was born August 24, 1921 in Chattanooga to the late Willie and Annie Lou Eskew. He was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia/ Chattanooga area and of the Baptist Faith. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War 2. Jack owned and operated Pure Oil Service Station on McCallie Ave. and retired as a car salesman after working for many auto companies. He loved horseback riding and watching his favorite westerns and spending time with his loving family.
He is preceded by his loving wife of 48 years, Ella Marie Eskew
Survivors include his sons, Jack (Gina) Eskew Jr. and Gary (Debbie) Eskew; 2 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:30 PM, Sunday at Anderson Memorial Gardens with Pastor Carl Hubbert officiating.
