Lawrence Hudon Tatum, 87, of Ringgold, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday January 16, 2021. He was born December 24, 1933 a son of the late Lawrence Jeffrey and Willie Mae Pullen Tatum
Hudon retired from Shaw Industries after several years of service and was a member of Grace Church
Mr. Tatum was the first elected Republican Commissioner in Catoosa County and helped with the Building of the Catoosa County Jail. Hudon loved taking care of the family farm and raising cattle.
Survivors are his loving wife of 65 years Ruby Roberson Tatum, sons Guy ( Donna ) Tatum and Warren ( Teresa ) Tatum; daughter Debra Tatum. Sisters Elva Nichols, Christine Saulter and Rita Kirby; grandchildren, Melinda Trimby, Melissa (Jeremy) Price, Nathaniel ( Heather ) Trimby, Haley ( Brad ) Daniels, Jeffrey Tatum. Five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Nathan McCoy officiating.
Interment in the Anderson Memorial Gardens
