Doc Solomon

Howard “Doc” Solomon, 93, of Ringgold passed away, April 6, 2018.  He was surrounded by his family at the time of his death.  Doc has been a resident of North Georgia for over 50 years, was a dedicated member and Deacon of Boynton Baptist Church, and a TVA retiree.  In his life, he showed unconditional love and support as a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

Mr. Solomon is preceded in death by his wife of 70 years Eva Jane Solomon.  Survivors include daughters Rhonda (Mike) Jones of Ringgold, GA, Rena (Garry) Sloan of Ringgold, Jerusha Gravitt of Ringgold whom he loved as a daughter, grandchildren Clayton Jones of Chickamauga, Clark Jones of Rome, Julie Jones of Ringgold, Justin Sloan of Ringgold, and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Rankin Chapel Baptist Church in Oakdale, TN, Saturday, 12 Noon, April 14, with interment directly following at Rankin Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

There will be a celebration of life for family and friends at Boynton Baptist Church Sanctuary on Friday, April 13th from 5:00-7:00pm.
