Hortense Bagwell Turner

Hortense Turner, 92 of Rossville passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.  Born July 7, 1929, in Chattanooga, she was a graduate of Central High School.  Devoted to her family, she was married to Arthur Turner, raising their family in Rossville.  She will be deeply missed by her two sons, Ed (Julie) and Doug (Jill), as well as her grandchildren, Jaimie, Chandler, Will, Noah, and Jake, and great-grandchildren, Presley and Esme. 

Besides her husband Arthur, she was preceded by her father, William Bagwell, and her beloved mother Susie, as well as siblings Edward, Martha, and Jack. 

A celebration of life will be held on noon, April 9 at Heritage Funeral Home on Battlefield Parkway in Fort Oglethorpe.  The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. till the service at the funeral home.
