Hershal Herman Worley, Sr.

Hershal Herman Worley, Sr., 82 of Ringgold went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 1, 2019 at his home. He was a life-long resident of North Georgia and a member at Catoosa Baptist Tabernacle. Hershal owned Worley Floor Covering and retired from the Catoosa County Road Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ruth Worley and sister, Carol Venable.

Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Wanda Worley; son, Hershal “Herbie” (Carol) Worley; daughters, Lynn (Eddie) King and Karen (Carlton) House; brothers, Alvin (Patsy) Worley and David (Glorie) Worley; sisters, Charlsie (Arvil) Dempsey, Barbara (Robert) Brinkley and Suzette (Junior) Chambers; grandchildren, Alysia King Russell, Philip King, Tyler Worley, Jason Worley and Morgan House; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Justin Gazaway and Bro. Jerry Atkins officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
