Henry Carl Overturf, 64, of Ringgold passed away July 5, 2018. He was a life-long resident of the Chattanooga/North Georgia area and was of the Baptist faith. Henry retired from Shaw Industries after 38 years of service. He loved NASCAR, Boyd Speedway and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Clifton Overturf and brothers, Jerry Overturf and Johnny Overturf.
Survivors include his loving wife Cindy Yates; mother, Madglene Overturf; sons, Chuck (Jenny) Philips, of Florida, Steve (Christine) Philips, of Ohio and Henry (Jaime) Craig Overturf, of Ringgold; brother, Don Overturf, Ringgold; sisters, Connie (David) Couch, of East Ridge, Evelyn (Eddie) Sullivan, Rossville and Debbie Pace of East Ridge; and grandchildren, Shauntaye and Justin Philips, Dezaray Philips and Charlie Overturf.
A graveside service will be held 11 AM Tuesday at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
