Harrell Craven

Gilbert “Harrell” Craven, Jr., 65, of East Ridge, went home to be with the Lord Monday, June 28, 2021. He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga, North Georgia area and a member of Philadelphia Baptist Oak Hill Rd. Harrell enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves and was very tech savvy. He loved his family dearly and loved the Lord. Harrell was a nurse for 36 years until his retirement.
 
He was preceded in death by his first wife Donna Craven.
 
Survivors include his loving wife Nancy Craven, son Donald (Sam) Craven, step son David McRoy, daughter Kerie Craven, mother-in-law Dot Rhea, sister Cheryl (Bill) Ayres, and grandchildren Aria, Enzo, Vivian, Klaus, Alice, Penelope, Madison, Tyler, and Aubrey.
 
Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM, Friday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Todd Poteet and Pastor Michael Leroux officiating.
 
Interment in the Lafayette City Cemetery.
