Welcome to the memorial page for

Harold Franklin "Slick" Keith

September 4, 1939 ~ November 19, 2017 (age 78) 78 Years Old

Harold Franklin “Slick” Keith, 78, Ringgold, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side Sunday, November 19, 2017.  He was born September 4, 1939 to the late James Albert and Jimmie Lou Keith.  Slick was a resident of Catoosa County for the last 55 years.  He attended Rossville high school and was a graduate of Nashville Auction School.  He was a member of Grace Works Church and formerly Christ United Methodist Church.  “Slick”, as he was affectionately known, worked at BASF Corporation before establishing Cloud Springs Feed and Supply which was operated as a successful business with his son Brian for 32 years.  All his customers were special. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and Southeastern Conference fan.  He enjoyed watching the UTC Mocs, hunting, fishing and racing, along with his admiration and love for all animals.  Along with Judy O’Neal he and she started the first “Stockings Full of Love” for under privileged children and is now one of the most successful fundraisers in Catoosa County now headed up by the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Department.  Slick had a big heart when it came to misfortunate children and was very proud to see what this fundraiser has become to families in our area.

Survivors are his loving wife of 57 years, Evelyn Shrader Keith; daughter, Terri (Pat) Castleberry, Ringgold; son, Brian Keith (Jeannie Davis), Rossville; brother, Les (Alma) Keith, Signal Mountain; granddaughter, Lauren Castleberry, Johnson City, and Krista Keith, Chattanooga; and niece and several nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, 2 PM, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Grady Cooper officiating.  Interment will be in Anderson Memorial Gardens.
