Although we are sad that you are no longer here on earth with us, we rejoice in knowing that you are no longer confused or in pain. You will never know sadness or disappointment again! The Lord has gained a wonderful, kind, and caring woman in you Sister Gloria!

I know I will miss Sister Gloria coming in to church and waving and telling everyone hi. And it was a joy to have her on the dance team at church, even if it was for just a little while.
Tonight while Jonathan and I said our prayers, I was praying for comfort for each of you in the Ownbey family and I began to cry. Jonathan wiped my tears and said "Yep. You're sad. Those are real tears!" I said yes, I am. But I was also happy, knowing that she is with the Lord. I am so thankful for her faithfulness and will greatly miss being with all of you tomorrow for her Memorial. Please know you all will be in my thoughts all day tomorrow, and the many days to come.

We will forever be grateful for all our talks and times of sharing when you were in the hospital and nursing home. We will miss your smiling face and the way you always worshiped the Lord during service. We rejoice that you are no longer suffering and that you have gone to receive your reward. You were dedicated and faithful until the end. We love you and we will never forget you. You will be missed more than words can even express.
