Glenna Natalie Howard, 91, of Rossville passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021 at her home. She was born on June 17, 1930 to the late Carlton and Doris Galster. Mrs. Howard was retired from JC Penney after 40 years of service and then became a school bus monitor for special ed children for 15 years. She loved to sew, paint ceramics and cook and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eddie Howard; her son, Mike Metzler; and two brothers, Carlton and Ivan Galster.
Survivors include her sons, Tom (Judy) Metzler and Kenny (Debbie) Metzler; daughters, Hannah (Larry) Wheeler and Tammi Metzler; sisters, Donna, Margaret and Lois; grandchildren, Tommy, Christy, Brian, Ryan and Max Metzler, Michael and Mitchell Metzler, Nick Dalton, Chris Dalton, Daniel Smith, Chris Wheeler, Shannon Santucci, DeAnne Miller and family; along with 26 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Lung Association.
