Gerald Lee Allen

Gerald (Jerry) Allen, 79, of Flintstone Georgia, passed away Saturday November 19, 2022 at his home. He was born in Faxon, Tennessee on January 04, 1943 to the late Clyde and Mae Allen. Jerry was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He retired from EPB of Chattanooga after 25 years of service.  

Jerry, the youngest of 5, was preceded in death by his brothers Gaylon Allen, Jim Allen, Charlie Allen, his sister Shirley Allen Arendale and his granddaughter Amanda Jo Headrick. 

He is survived by his devoted wife of 41 years, Jody Allen, his children Debbie (Kevin) Randen, Eddie (Jill) Allen, Sherry (Gary) Simmons, Monica (Leslie) York, Pat (Tonya) Duckworth, his grandchildren Lacey Carroll, Paige (TJ) Parks, Clay (Keely) Crooks, Hope Allen, Analeigh Simmons, Faith Allen, Jennifer Wilson, and his six great grand children Emma, Jesse, Ava, Thea, Tilly, and Piper Mae, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. 

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, 3 PM at Anderson Memorial Gardens with Eric Dunn officiating.
