Gerald Charles Beene

Gerald Charles Beene, 52 of Hixson went home to Heaven, Sunday April 18, 2021.

Gerald was a member of the Signal Mt. Baptist Church (now The Point) where he accepted Jesus as his savior and was baptized

He was very active in the youth group and was a member of the Chattanooga Boys Choir where he went on several tours with them.  Gerald attended McCallie School and was a member of the McCallie Hand Bells and toured Europe one summer with them. 

He graduated from Notre Dame High School and lettered in several sports. He was a fleet manager at Covenant Transport for many years and enjoyed his work. He received many fleet safety and performance rewards and awards for respect and excellence. He leaves behind four beautiful daughters, Rachel, Skyler, Chastity, and Jillian all of Chattanooga and one son Michael Beene of Dunlap, TN; 5 grandchildren, D.J., Gunner, Krisslynn, Logan and Olivia.

He was the only son of Royce DeLay Beene Wilson.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home but a memorial service will be held at a later date.
