Frieda Earls Eaves, 74, of Fort Oglethorpe, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her family. She lived in the North Georgia area all of her life, graduating from Lakeview High School in 1962 with the honor of valedictorian and Miss LHS, and the University of Chattanooga in 1965 with a degree in mathematics.  She taught math at Rossville High School from 1965-1970, leaving the teaching profession with the birth of her daughter. She returned to education in 1985 serving as Media Center paraprofessional at Lakeview Middle School until her retirement in 2005.  At the age of 14 she began serving as church pianist at Cloud Springs Baptist Church, and later continuing her piano ministry at Parkway Baptist, Memorial Baptist Tabernacle, and most recently as organist at Anchor of Hope Baptist where she was a member.  Complimenting her church piano ministry, she taught piano lessons for over 50 years to students of all ages. For the last 9 years she enjoyed volunteering at Memorial Hospital where she found a second family in the volunteer office.  She loved traveling, spending time with her kids and grandkids, and watching the Atlanta Braves.
