Frederick Glenn Gilman

Tribute

Frederick (Fred) Glenn Gilman, former resident of Bennington, Vermont passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 30th.  Born in Hannover, New Hampshire on August 16, 1940. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering in 1963 from New England College, Henniker, New Hampshire. He was an active member of the Bennington Rural Fire Department for over 40 years and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was very active with the Vermont Trappers Association.

He worked for the Vermont Department of Transportation for over 40 years and then worked as a consultant for GPI for 10 years prior to retiring.

He was a loving husband to Kathie for 59 years, father to Mary Wilcox and Judy (Robbie) Williamson, grandfather to Joshua (Trinity) Williamson, Samantha Williamson, and Glenn Williamson, and great grandfather to Ryker Williamson.
