Freddye Sue Byers

Freddye Sue Byers, 74, of Chickamauga, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019.  Freddye was born July 2, 1945, in Lafayette to the late Woodrow Bomar and Glenda Fincher.  She was a lifelong resident of Chickamauga.  Freddye worked as the hairdresser at Rosewood Assisted Living for the past 16 years and she attended church at Cross Connection in Chickamauga.

Freddye is survived by her husband of 46 years, Freddie Byers, daughter, Ma’Sha Byers-Tennant; brothers Ronnie Fincher, Jerry Bomar, and Lynn Bomar; sister Marylin Phillips; and grandchildren, Braxton and Che’Noa.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Freddye Byers will be Friday, 11 AM, in the funeral home chapel.  Interment will be in Chickamauga City Cemetery.
