Freddie Rhodes, 86 of Fort Oglethorpe passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020. Freddie was born August 23, 1934 to the late Charles Robert and Mary Holcomb Rhodes. He was of the Christian Faith and lived most of his life in the North Georgia area. He retired from the United States Air Force serving for 20 years. The only thing Fred loved more than golfing, woodworking and being a handyman was spending time with his loving family.
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Doug, John and J.W. Rhodes, Margaret Foster and Martha Dalton.
Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Carole Ann Butler Rhodes; sons, Richard (Debra) Rhodes and Kenneth (Terrie) Rhodes; daughter, Dawn Rhodes; grandchildren, Drew, Adam, Stephanie, B.K. and Hannah; great-grandchildren, Kelly, Austin, James and Natalie.
Funeral Services will be 11:30 AM, Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
