Frances Knowles Groves, 94, of Bossier City, LA went home to be with the Lord Tuesday June 13, 2017 at Rosewood Assisted Living in Fort Oglethorpe, GA. She was of the Baptist faith, and lived in North Georgia for the past ten years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert W. Groves (Retired Major US Air Force), parents Willie Homer Knowles and Lurleen Pollard Knowles, brother Charles Raymond Knowles, and sister Joann Knowles Burns.

Survivors include nephew David (Susie) Burns, and niece Lydia (David) Babb, several great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Poplar Springs Baptist Church Children’s Ministry in Ringgold, GA.

The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Wednesday at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
