Frances "Polly" Franklin

Frances "Polly" Lee Franklin passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus this past Friday, Nov. 13th. She was born and raised in Overton County, Tennessee, but had been a long time resident of  Rossville, Georgia. 

Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Ottis and Callie Lee, her brother Bobby Jean, and her husband of over sixty-four years, Charlies Hue Franklin. 

Frances leaves behind a large loving family. Children and their spouses: Debbie Grisham (Tommy), Charles Franklin (Sandra), and Tommy Franklin. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren: Jenny (Seth), Alissa (James), Evan, Ian (Randi), Dylan, Brendan, Caeden, Tristan, London, Lauren (Dylan), Kathryn (Paul), Timothy, and Jennifer.  She was blessed with seven great-grandchildren: Autumn, Samuel, Temperance, Gavin, Lyndlee, Christian, and Clayton. Frances is survived by her siblings, Thelma, Claudine, Grace, Keith (Betty), and Jerry. She will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A private service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia followed by interment at Chattanooga National Cemetery alongside her husband.
