Frances Dunn

Mary Frances Arp Dunn, 94, of Rossville went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 1, 2023. She was born on May 29, 1929 in Rossville, Georgia to the late Hebert H. and Mary Lizzie Tuell Arp. She married her late loving husband of 65 years, Rev. Charles Raymond Dunn on October 14, 1948 and served with him faithfully in his ministry throughout her life. Mrs. Dunn trusted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and is now her faith has become sight. She volunteered as a teachers aide and substitute teacher at several elementary schools, assisted in the library, worked for TH Payne Bookstore and was employed at Combustion. She was a member of the Lakeview First Baptist Church Community and a member of the Fidelis Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ray Arp, George Arp, Harold “Buck” Arp, Roy Arp and Lebron Arp; and her sisters, Margaret Hollingsworth, Billie Arp Hall and Mildred Arp Toler.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah (Dr. Bob) Frey; sister-in-laws, Elaine and Lila Arp; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their appreciation and many thanks for the excellent work and care given at Parkside Nursing and Tapestry Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lakeview First Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Patrick Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at the Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Bob Frey officiating.
