Foye Meers

Foye Elizabeth Meers 89, of Ringgold, went home to be with the Lord Friday, March 2, 2018.  She was a daughter of the late Roy and Cora Leigh Jennings and has lived most of her life in the Burning Bush Community.  Mrs. Meers was a member of the Burning Bush Baptist Church where she was a member of the Prime Time Choir, the  Joyful Sunday School Class, and the Young at Heart.  Mrs. Meers was preceded in death by her husband William Zemery Meers, son Thomas Z. Meers, and a brother Everett Jennings.

Survivors are daughter and son in law Darlene and Doug Gordon of Anniston, Alabama; granddaughter Leslie Gordon of Asheville NC; brothers Johnny (Gwendolyn) Jennings and Billy Jennings and Doris Hooper of Ringgold.

Funeral  will be held 11  A.M. Monday at  Burning Bush Baptist Church with Rev. John Waldon and Rev. Dennis McNulty officiating.  The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church.

The Prime Time Choir will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
