Felisa Parris

Felisa Stewart Parris, 56, of Ringgold, GA, died on October 23, 2018.

Felisa was born September 24, 1962, in Chattanooga, TN to Lem and Mary Stewart of Rossville,GA. She is survived by her husband, Melvin Parris; son, Joshua Parris. She was preceded in death by her parents Lem and Mary Stewart and daughter Angel Dagnan. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren, Justin, Warren, Jackson and Andrew Dagnan of Trenton, GA and Abby Parris of Ringgold, GA. 

She was a graduate of Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School and attended Dalton State College. Felisa was employed by Benchmark Physical Therapy in Chattanooga, TN. She professed her faith in Jesus Christ as a young girl while attending Lakeview First Baptist Church. She was active in a prayer group at church and was loved and supported by those in the group. 

She will be forever cherished by her sisters, Cindi Stewart O'Neal, Melinda Eller (Lebron), and brother, Howard Stewart as well as two step-sisters, Cindy Wilson (Larry) Forkner and Cindy Ezell Wilson (Mike). She will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Her extended family was very important to her and it was her "mission" to keep the family connected and in touch with one another. She was constantly calling and making contact with family members to check on them and she loved helping with the planning of the yearly "Stewart Family Reunion". The reunion was one of the highlights of the year! Felisa enjoyed finding handmade quilts and especially enjoyed having quilts made from quilt tops from her grandmothers and aunts. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to the First Baptist Lakeview Christians in Action (CIA) or the American Heart Association. 

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 4-8 PM and Sunday 11-1 PM. The funeral will be at 1 PM in the Heritage Chapel. She will buried in a private ceremony at a later date.
