Faye Parris

Faye Parris, 89, of Rossville, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday March 11, 2020. She was born in Chavies, AL on November 25, 1930, a daughter of the late Dewey and Canola Chambers Mullins. She has lived in Rossville for the past 19 years, and attended Battlefield Baptist Church. Faye loved quilting and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed traveling and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, George Parris, a son Terry Stanley Parris, and seven brothers and sisters.
 
Survivors include son Rick (Brenda) Parris of Anniston, AL, daughter Delinda (Steve) McCormick of Rossville, six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
 
Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Crane officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
 
The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Friday at Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
