Evelyn Victoria Long

Evelyn Victoria Long, 92, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018. She was a daughter of the late Albert and Lila Grant Haney. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and a member of the Brainerd Baptist Church where she worked in the library and an active member of her Sunday School Class. Evelyn was a Gray Lady volunteer at Tri-County Hospital. She enjoyed quilting and working with flowers.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben T. Long Jr. and son, Ralph “Terry” Long.

Survivors include her son, Randy (Tammy) Long, Ringgold; daughters, Marilyn Pressley, Ringgold, Deborah Hammon, Fort Oglethorpe; grandchildren, Jessica, Chrissy, Melissa and Trey; great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Lulu.

A celebration of life service will be held 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Steve Rowland officiating.
