Evelyn E. Dyke

Evelyn E. Dyke, 92, of Rossville passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020. Evelyn was born August 4, 1928 in Trenton, GA to the late Grant and Martha Gann Daniels. She was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and of the Methodist faith. The only thing she loved more than traveling was spending time with her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Beecher Dyke; daughter, Barbara Dyke Nester; Maxie Craig (sister - Lookout Mtn. GA), Marie Cunningham, (Sister, Rossville), Anne C. Simpson (sister - Rossville), Granville Daniel (brother - Louisville, Ky.), Leonard Daniel - (brother - Mobile, AL), General Daniel - (brother, Lookout Mtn. GA).  

Survivors include her children, Carol (David) Tindell of Rossville, Jack (Siluckana) Dyke of Atlanta and Jim (Angie) Dyke of Maryland; 5 grandchildren, David (Leanne) Tindell II, Chad (Kari) Tindell, Ashley Dyke, Jeremy (Shawn) Dyke, Beecher Dyke Jr.; 3 great-grandchildren; Martha Wilbanks and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held 12 PM, Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
