Eugene L. Scott Jr.

Eugene Leroy Scott, Jr., 73, of Rossville passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 at his home. He was a life-long resident of the North Georgia area and a member of the Battlefield Parkway Church of the Nazarene. Gene served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years. He was employed with AT&T/Bellsouth for the next 45 years. He enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Leroy Scott, Sr.; daughter, Sandra Lynn Ragon; brother, Jeffery Scott and sister, Carolyn Osbourn.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Shayna Scott; mother, Mary Ruth Griffith Scott; sons, Donald Wayne Scott and Anthony Todd Scott; sister, Pamela Candace Sanders; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 10 AM Thursday at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Joe Brown officiating.
