Elizabeth "Lib" (Holland) Ellis

Passed away Saturday July 3 at Parkside Advanced Rehab in Rossville.

Had she lived a few more days she would have been 95 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents J I and Gladys Holland,  one sister Bonnie Holland, three brothers J N,

Ernest and Billie Holland as well as her husband of 62 years Jim Ellis.

Lib is survived by one son Robin (wife Sherry) Ellis, two grandchildren Julie Ellis Beavers (husband Eric Beavers), Jamie Ellis (wife Kerri), five Great Grandchildren Katheryn Boyd (husband Tyler), Meagan Beavers, Jordan Beavers (wife Savannah), Blane Porter Ellis, Harper Ellis, two Great Great Grandchildren Carter Boyd and Killian Beavers.  She has one living brother Charles Holland several nieces and nephews. She enjoyed working at Olan Mills Portrait Studio before moving to South Carolina in 1971.

Emanuel Baptist Church was her home church in Rossville and upon retirement Moon Lake Baptist Church in Mentone, AL, where she and her husband taught Sunday School and were very active.  Cooking for family and church dinners was enjoyed by her entire community. Potato Salad was always requested.  She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be 11:30 AM Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Garmany Cemetery.

Family will receive friends 10:00 - 11:30 AM Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.

Her Grandson Rev. Jamie Ellis will conduct the service.

Pallbearers will be Great Grandchildren Katheryn Boyd, Tyler Boyd, Meagan Beavers, Cole Butler, Jordan Beavers and Great Nephew Andy Still. Honorary Pallbearers will be her caregivers at Parkside.
