Edna Jean (Holder) Scarbrough

Edna Holder Scarbrough, 86, of Rock Spring, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.  Edna was born March 24, 1933, in Long Island, AL, to the late Willis and Bessie Holder.  She was of the Baptist faith and attended Brainerd Baptist Church.  Edna is preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Thomas Russell; brothers, Eugene Holder, Sherman Holder; and sisters, Allison Fritz and Clara Walden.

Edna is survived by sons; Brian Scarbrough, Rossville, Alan Scarbrough (Frieda), Guntersville, AL; daughters, Jan Watson (Mark), Rock Spring, Karen Curtis, Rossville; sisters, Virginia Freels, Ollie Mae Ritchie, and Mary Jo Grant; 7 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Edna will take place 1 PM, Monday.  Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
