Roy Edward Partin, 57, of Ringgold went home to be with the Lord Monday, September 16, 2019. Eddie was born September 23, 1961 in Chattanooga, TN and was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area. He was a devoted member of Parkway Baptist where he served for 23 years as a Sunday School Teacher and youth leader. He was an employee at Lookout Pest Control. He was a 1979 graduate of Ringgold High School and a part of the first All Star Boynton Baseball Team. The only thing he loved more than Georgia Football and the Atlanta Braves was spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Clifford Partin.
Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years, Jenice Haddock Partin; mother, Mary (George) Stanley; son, Logan (Shae) Partin; mother in law, Ann (Richard) Poole; brother in law, Roy (Connie) Haddock; niece, Heather (Kyle) Taylor; step-brother, Alan Stanley; step sister, Shelley Burns.
Funeral services will be at 1 PM, Friday at Parkway Baptist Church with Dr. David Sampson and Rev. Kyle Taylor officiating. Interment will be at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
