Drue Papson Cain

Drue Papson Cain  of  Flintstone Georgia  was called home by Our Lord and Savior on March 23, 2021.  Born January 31, 1948  to Edward and Dorothea “Dot” Papson she was preceded in death by them and her sister Elizabeth “Beth” Papson- Polk.   She is survived by her husband Lewis Cain, and her brother Edward “Tom” Papson Jr.   

In addition, she is survived by children Chris and Stacey Cain,  Will and Julie Cain,  and  Daniel and Kendall Cain.  Grandchildren  Tyler, Lauren, Kyler, Riley, and Ryan Cain.   With many great nieces and nephews and a loving mother-in-law Mary Cain.  

A lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee, she worked with her husband at Technical Laboratories, Inc.  They met at the Baptist Student Union of UTC.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 on Friday March 26  at Heritage Funeral in Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.  Services to be held on Saturday March 27 at 1pm, First Baptist Church,  401 Gateway Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37402 with Dr. Thomas Quisenberry presiding. Safety measures will be followed. Masks must be worn. Temperatures will be checked. Ushers will seat all guests. Church entry will begin at 12:30pm at the sanctuary doors.
