Doug and Dianne Sitton

Robert Douglas Sitton, 78 passed away peacefully at home January 8, 2021. Daisy Dianne Sitton, 71 passed a few days after her loving husband of 42 years on January 11, 2021. They were both lifelong residents of the Chattanooga/ North Georgia area. They loved golfing and the Tennessee Volunteers.

They are preceded by son, Paul Cobb; father, Benton Hood Sr., siblings Thomas, Jerry, Lamar and Mildred.

Survivors include children Kevin (Heather) Cobb, Shannon Sitton; her mother, Lea Hood Alexander; siblings, Victor (Pam) Hood and Benton (Wanda)Hood Jr.; grandchildren, Chelsea, Olivia (Jay), Zeke (Ashley), Jake, Porter, Salem (Mary Jane) and Juliette Cobb; great-grandchildren, Jenna, Roxie, Daylan, Shy and Sawyer.

The Sitton’s have requested private funeral services. The family will gather at 9:30 – 10:45 AM, Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway with the chapel service following at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations are accepted at St. Jude's Church and Children's Hospital.
