Dorothy Steele Wilson, 93, of Ringgold went home to be with the Lord Sunday, September 20, 2020. Dorothy was born February 6, 1927 to the late Walter B. and Alice Green Lanier. She was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and member of Parkway Baptist Church. She was the owner of Dots Outlet and House of Fashions. The only thing she loved more than flowers and gardening was spending time with her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Robert W. Steele and brother, Leonard Lanier; daughter in law, Marlene Culver Steele.
Survivors include her loving husband of 36 years Don Wilson; children, William Randall Steele of Chickamauga and Teresa (Dale) Steele Hughey of Ringgold; grandchildren, Lance (Mandy) Steele, Shanna (Shawn) Rogers, Chad (Kelly) Hughey, Robert Hughey and Lacey (Jeff) Goodson; 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. David Sampson and Rev. Royce Powell officiating. Interment will be at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
