Donnie Rodgers

Donnie Rodgers, 77, of Ringgold, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 2, 2022. 

Mr. Rodgers was born in Summerville on June 23, 1944 a son of the late Donald Rodgers and Bertie Lee Lawson Rodgers.  He has lived in Ringgold since 1968 and was a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church.

Mr. Rodgers has always served his community in  Emergency care and First Response for more than 44 years. He was instrumental in starting the Catoosa County Ambulance services in 1974.

Donnie had also worked with Wallis Funeral Home in Ringgold and LaFayette and was retired from Hutcheson Medical Center.

Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years Mary “ Tootie” Reavely Rodgers, son Jay ( April ) Rodgers and a grandson Blake Rodgers.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 am  Friday at Anderson Memorial Gardens with Bro. David Cummings officiating.
