Donald Romain, 99, of Ringgold went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 7, 2021. He was born in Carnegie, Pennsylvania on May 20, 1922 to the late Charles and Laura Hearn Romain. He was a member of Clearview Baptist Church and served for many years as choir director in many churches across North Georgia. Mr. Romain was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in the Pacific in World War II. He retired from Ryerson Steel Industries.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Evans Romain and son, W.C. Wingo.

Survivors include his daughter, Marlene Green; son, Chuck (Susie) Romain; grandchildren, Kim Knox, Tracey Hale, Chad and Shann Wingo, Carly McCrary, Joshua Romain and Zach Romain; several great and great-great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with his son, Chuck Romain, Pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church in LaFayette officiating. Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
