Dennis "Gampa" Morgan Steele

Dennis “Gampa” Morgan Steele, 79, of Ooltewah passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at his home. He was born in Trion, GA on October 2, 1940 and had lived most of his life in the North Georgia/Chattanooga area. Mr. Steele had worked with Delta Airlines for over 35 years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jessie Steele; parents, Paul Steele and Margaret Laesch and his brother, Paul Dewayne Steele.

Survivors include his children, Marsha (Dan) Lowry, David (Pam) Steele, Bobby (Kim) Steele, Dennis (Melissa) Steele and Jeremy (Pam) Lowry; brother, Leonard (Kathy) Smith; sister, Susie (Jeff) Strickland; sister-in-law, Mildred Steele; 9 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
