Danny Neil Tarpley

Danny Neil Tarpley, 71, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at his home. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late George and Mildred Tarpley. Mr. Tarpley was of the Baptist faith and was a life time member of D.A.V. He had served his country in the United States Marine Corps serving two tours in Vietnam. Danny loved playing and collecting guitars as well as collecting guns.

Survivors include his loving wife of 22 years, Angierone Tarpley; children, Amy (Spencer) Akins, Troy Tarpley, Dallas Tarpley, Alisa Fitzpatrick, Jasper Reeder, Hellen Ernest, Nathan Reeder and Carey Reeder; sisters, Loretta Kirk and Martha Harris; grandchildren, David Armstrong and Kara Armstrong; great-grandchildren, Gracey, Elijah and Isaac Armstrong.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Thursday at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Dr. Bill Lowery officiating.

The family will receive friends 11-12:30 Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
