Dagmar "Dee" (Margot) Taylor

Dagmar “Dee” Margot Taylor, 68, of Chattanooga passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 9th. She was born on December 11th, 1949 in Long Beach, CA to Dr. Jo Fisher and Margot Irmgard Herta Freeman. As the daughter of a diplomat Dee spent her younger years living in Saigon, New Delhi and Kathmandu.

She had a love for her Scottish heritage and spent many summers later in life building friendships at Highlands festivals. Dee will be remembered for her laugh, creativity, and big heart.

She is survived by Scott Taylor, her loving husband of 46 years and two daughters, Dawn Taylor-Cole and Rene Hermanson. Dee also leaves six grandchildren: Yeshua, Dagan, Otus, Dylan, Elliot, and Theona. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.

The family will receive friends 4-6 PM Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
