Curtis Bernard Emmett passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Curtis fought very hard to overcome a cancer that took his precious life.
He was a good, kind hearted man who loved his family and his little dog, Droopy.
A man of many talents, Curtis was an excellent cook (grill master) of the family and could do most anything. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed riding his Harley. He was a graduate of East Ridge High School and was a pressman at the News Free Press before joining Houchens International as a store manager. Curtis always had a friendly smile and was loved by everyone who knew him.
He was preceded in death by the mothers of his children, Sheila Stuart Emmett and Sandra Curtis Emmett.
Survivors include his mother, Judy Spears; step-father, Bill Spears; father and step-mother, Charles and Michele Emmett; brother, Nick Spears; step-sister, Melisa (Dwayne) Hughes; daughters, Alanah Emmett and Shannah Emmett (Jason) Price; step-daughter, Allison Goldsmith; grandchildren, Taylor Ann Emmett Moore, Ryleigh and Sianne Price, Macey Marie Burnett, Mason Gregory and Madeline Grace (Maddie) Broom.

A memorial service will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 12 with visitation from 11am until service time at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
