Connye Jean Moore

Connye Jean Moore, 76, of Apison passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. She was born in Memphis, TN on February 28, 1946 to the late August and Roxie Friberg, but had been a life-long resident of the Chattanooga/North Georgia area. Mrs. Moore retired from Heritage Funeral Home after 20 years of service. Connye attended the Collegedale Community Church. She loved celebrating birthdays, Christmas, Thanksgiving and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, David Moore.

Survivors include her son, Jeff Moore, of East Brainerd; daughter, Katie (Steven) Moore Tsui, of Ooltewah; brother, Russell (Linda) Friberg; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon Friday at the Collegedale Community Church with Pastor Jerry Arnold officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in Collegedale Memorial Park.
