Clyde Gleaves Griffith Jr., 76, of Ringgold went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, November 22, 2022. Clyde was born July 10, 1946 in Rossville, GA to the late Clyde Griffith Sr. and Alma Doss Griffith. He was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia Area, member/minister of Fort Oglethorpe, Signal Mountain and Magby Gap Churches of Christ and was a realtor for over 40 years. He served the church as minister for 38 years with 28 being at Fort Oglethorpe Church of Christ. Next to serving God, the church, his wife and family he loved traveling and watching UT Football.
Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Vicki Griffith; children, Scott (Sheila) Griffith, Gena (Roddy) Bailey and Stacie (Jimmy) Martin; sister, Anna Hutton of Rolesville, NC; grandchildren, Caleb Martin, Jillian Martin (Jaxon) Graham, Clara Martin, Abbey Cate, Alex Bailey, Isabella Griffith and Maksim Griffith; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Honorary Pallbearers include Keith Wilson, Bob Stone, Orison Henderson, Jim Siler, Carey Smith and Sam Moody.
Funeral service will be 3 PM, Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Wayne Miller, Charles Cochran and Caleb Martin speaking. Interment will be at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South at 1 PM, Tuesday.
