Clayton L. Blevins, 84, of Fort Oglethorpe went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. He was a native of Ider, Alabama, a son of the late Harry and Idella Young Blevins. Mr. Blevins was owner and operator of Blevins Paint and Body Shop for over 30 years. He loved playing the guitar, picking muscadines and was an old classic car enthusiast. He was of the Christian faith.
He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Blevins and daughter, Tina Blanchard.
Survivors include his son, David (Christy) Blevins, Fort Oglethorpe, GA; brother, Ray Blevins; sisters, Viola Lancaster Smith and Lola Boydston; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kyle Taylor officiating. The burial will be held at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
