Cynthia Lynn Smith Bowen, 57, Flintstone, went home to be with the Lord Monday April 15, 2019. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area.
Mrs. Bowen was a member of the Calvary Chapel in Chattanooga and was employed with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee. Cindy loved the outdoors, kayaking, camping, her swimming pool and back porch, and shopping for great bargains at antique stores. She also loved shopping for purses and spending time with her family.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Betty Poole Smith, and a brother Mike Smith.
Survivors are her loving husband of 32 years, Mike Bowen; daughter, Stephanie (Zach) Hurst of Tampa, FL; sons Ethan (Jordan) Bowen of Fairview; Austin Bowen and Victoria Parks of Flintstone; brother, Rev. Glenn (Terri) Smith, of Sugar Land, TX; grandchildren, Jocelyn, Scout, Reece and Ella; several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, in the funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Smith officiating. Interment will be in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and from 12-2 p.m. Friday at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
