I first met Charles, Pat and their family at Ft. Orglethorpe Church of Christ many, many years ago! He was a Godly man and a special person! I'm thankful that I got to know and spend time with him and his family! I was in the Rossville area last weekend and had hoped to stop in and pay my respects but I read the obituary and found out visitation and the service were not until Monday and Tuesday.

So, please except this as my way of paying respect to this fine Christian man, husband, father, brother, friend and so much more! Charles is gone from this life, but his memory will remain alive because of all the lives he touched in his lifetime!

So for now Charles, Rest In Peace with your new body that has been made whole with no more pain and suffering!

Prayers to all the family! I know it will be hard to let go, but I pray all the wonderful memories will help ease the pain of your great loss!

Working together for over 30 years can get a people to know one another. The closeness we shared each day we came to work made working at Ft. Oglethorpe State Bank and Rossville Bank a pleasant experience. Not only were we close in business but also in our personal lives. I never hesitated to go to him when I needed personal advice and I feel he came to me when he needed the same. We shared some funny stories together and also shared sad times too. One thing I will always remember him for is his love for his family, especially you Pat. No matter who was in his office with him or what the discussion was, he always looked at his phone when it rang. If it was Pat, he always answered calling her an endearing name like "honey' or "sweetheart" and listened intently while she gave him information, whether about their kids or herself or Pat's mother, Frances Crawford.
Pat and family, I will always remember him as a brother and those final few minutes you folks allowed me just before his passing were some of the great memories I will have of him and you guys.
God bless you all at this time of sadness.

So sorry we could not be there. Jay had to attend a banking seminar. We will be forever grateful that Mr. Lusk hired Jay at Rossville Bank. He enjoyed working for Mr. Lusk very much. Praying that God will give you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Clark: I'm so sorry for your loss and for that of your family. Your father was such a wonderful man. We loved having you as neighbors growing up. I can't pass your old house on Coffman Drive without thinking of your dear family. Blessings on all of you and may you find comfort in your own time and in your own way. Much love, Amy Parrish

Charles was a fine man. I knew him as a kind hearted and caring man when I was boy, and grew to deeply respect him for his leadership as a young man. His words of wisdom, his heart for others, and his well-timed wit are what I will miss the most. Peace to you, Mr. Lusk, and to your family.
