Charles Cornelison

Charles Farren Cornelison, 85, of Rossville passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021. Charles was born June 23, 1936 to the late Albert M. and Willie D. Cornelison. He was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and member of Fairview Baptist Church. He worked for Happy Valley Farm’s Flavorich Dairy for 34 years and for Estes Equipment for several years before retiring. He enjoyed working in his apple orchard, painting, woodworking, and gardening. Most of all he loved Jesus and his family.

He is preceded by his beloved wife of almost 60 years Rebecca Jane Cornelison and brother Albert M. Cornelison II.

He is survived by his loving wife Charlotte Hickman Cornelison; daughter, Lori Cornelison Teague; granddaughter, Emilee Teague; sister, Judy Daugherty; sister and brother in law, Judy (Jim) Dempsey; stepdaughters, Jill (Eddie) Baldwin, April (Robbie Carlton) Hickman, their children and grandchildren; many nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
